Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 8am to drive to Amarapura. You will visit Mahagandayon Monastery, where you can see a thousand Buddhist monks and novices line up every morning, at 10:30am, to receive their meal of the day. Learn more about the craft work for which Mandalay is famous by visiting workshops and cottage industries. You’ll see gold-leaf techniques, wood carving and kalaga tapestry weaving.
After that your guide and driver will take you to Mingun by car. Visit the unfinished colossal Pathodawgyi Temple, which was meant to become the largest stupa in Myanmar, constructed by King BodawPaya one of the world’s largest bells; the 90 ton Mingun Bell and HsinbyumePaya as well as the largest ringing bell in the world.
Then proceed to Sagaing and visit Kaunghmudaw Pagoda, Soon Oo Ponya Shin Paya & Sagaing Hill. Visit surrounding area and lunch at local restaurant, after lunch, drive to Innwa. Proceed to Inwa (Ava) then visit Inwa by horse cart. Visit Maha Aung Mye Bon Zan Monastery (Me Nu Oak-Kyaung), the Grand Bargayar Monastery & Watch Tower (Nan Myint).
End of the day ,you will enjoy sunset at U Bein teak bridge, the world’s longest teak structure at 3.4 miles long. Then transfer back to your hotel.
